Power to the People, 2007

Photographs document the temporary installation of miniature protest signs in a series of public garbage cans along a city avenue. The project simultaneously imagines the fanciful possibility of a large-scale protest rally of tiny people, and expresses humorous frustration about the state of public protest. At the same time, it uses one of the few public venues still legally available for public statement -- the trash can.
